Their Opinions Don’t Pay Your Bills

Can we just deal it to you straight?

Listen up… People have opinions. Or maybe we should say people have O. PIN. IONS. (with a little extra flavor because we all know how vocal everyone is on the internet.)

No matter what you do, someone will have something to say about it:

• They’ll talk about you whether you decide to start a business or not.
• They’ll judge you if you decide to sit on the couch or go for a run.
• People will talk about you whether you decide to have pancakes or a smoothie for breakfast.
  

Their opinions will always exist, so why don’t you do the dang thing anyway? Why don’t you do what lights your soul on fire? How about you change the world with your passion? What about you do what you were put on this earth to do?

Because we’ll be honest: you will NEVER be all things to all people. So do it knowing that there will be more people who doubt you than applaud you… And that’s okay. It’s okay to have Doubters, fear-mongers, and haters.

In fact, Jasmine and the rest of our team is THANKFUL for these types of people!

To those who made us doubt, caused us fear, or whispered about us: THANK YOU.

THANK YOU…

• for the business deals that Jasmine got cut out of,
• for the business partners who stole money and walked away,
• for the late nights,
• for the lonely mornings,
• for the bounced checks,
• for every time somebody said, "No,” 
• for the failures,
• for all the negative things that were ever said, and
• for the secrets whispered behind our backs.

She has proven she is enough simply by believing she WAS. Her ability to step on a stage, teach a class, or show up live on social media? That is only a by-product of getting up after making mistakes time and time again… and believing she was still enough, even after all the screw-ups.

That’s why we continue getting up for you too, friend. Every time Jasmine steps up, she understands that she’s being an example for those who walk beside her… and those who will come after her.

So we will thank those doubters, haters, and unbelievers, and so should you!

You see, those people shape who we’re destined to become.

If you’re struggling with people who don’t believe in your business, it’s time to let go of their doubt.

Refuse to let their judgment stop you from doing what you’ve been called to do.

Those haters? They are going to be the people to get you to where you want to go because you will continue to RISE.

After you’ve risen above… The question then becomes: are you willing to do the work towards your dreams despite all the obstacles you may face in your path?

• You will have sleepless nights.
• You will have to give up your favorite Netflix shows.
• You will have to turn down happy hours and drinks with friends.
• You will have to wake up early and go to bed late.
• You will have to use your lunch break at your day job to expand your knowledge.
• You will have to show up consistently, even when you don’t want to.
  

The harsh reality is that entrepreneurship is not always sexy or glamorous and it’s certainly never easy.

>>But if you WANT to build a business and you don’t CARE that they’ll judge you for it, you are capable of all of that and more.<<

Because honestly, we’re the crazy ones. We’re entrepreneurs. We get punched in the gut and we show up time and time again. We do it because we love what we do and we love the game. 

The game may be dirty and unglamorous and funky but we are doing the thing we are called to do and standing in our purpose. 

Those small glimmers and flickers of euphoria continue to push us forward, and it’s in those moments that we continue to rise.
